I’m a NH native that left home at 18. I’m in state the last 3 years but looking to get back up to Burlington, VT, my home of a decade prior. Both Christianity & Islam are almost one in the same, yet Islam, according to the Koran, is by far more LGBT friendly. I’ve met individuals from both religions & I’ve as yet, ofcourse we’re in the US with more churches than mosques, met an evangelizing and/or hostile Muslim. I agree that Christians fear their loss of domination of priviledge by numbers. My comment as a question: I accept the right of individuals to practice their religious “lifestyle” so long as they aren’t compromising the individual rights of another. Does Christianity according to the Bible, freely accept of homosexuality our right to express ourselves openly? I’m “spiritual” but not “religious.” IMO, Christianity as practiced by “scripturalists” is the most oppressive, totalitarianistic, fear & anti-Liberty “cultists” of the dominant religions World-wide. Their so-called compassion has been the direct result of more murder, suffering, enslavement & death than anyother religious group for over 2 millenium. I treat others as I myself wish to be treated. If only Christians practice what they preach, the World would no doubt be a better place. Peace
That title “Mitt Romney on Boy Scouts” is awfully suggestive. Maybe that is deliberate?
